Does Duolingo math have advanced math? ›

The updated course includes more advanced real-world math skills, like calculating tips and hourly wages, to sharpen adult learners' mental math. There's more to learn than ever before on Duolingo.

Duolingo Math was a course on Duolingo designed to teach mathematics. It helped people revisit math concepts or practice at their own level, covering up to a 4th or 5th grade level. Skills included counting, addition, subtraction, fractions, measurements, division, multiplication, and more.

College Scholarships

In terms of the difficulty of classes, having Advanced placement classes is what will draw the most attention. Advanced placement is more difficult than Honors math, therefore it will make colleges even more interested in you and give you a better chance at earning a college scholarship.

Take them early so that you'll have time for advanced science and math, which will show colleges that you're ready for higher-level work. Most colleges want students with three years of high school math.

At Duolingo, we're developing our courses to get you to a level called B2, at which you can get a job in the language you're studying. Reaching that kind of proficiency requires dedication, varied practice opportunities, and a lot of time.

Generally speaking, the most rigorous math courses in high school include Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus AB and BC, AP Statistics, and for some, Multivariable Calculus (which might be offered at your school or at a local college).
